If you never want to be frustrated again peeling a hard boiled egg, buy this product

Sometimes, something just WORKS.....I've been through every gadget in the world for poaching eggs, and it seems like the eggs always end up with either runny whites or solid yolks, with no in between. Until now, that is......This thing just works. You have to experiment with the water level a bit, but once you learn how much to use, it makes perfect poached eggs. Boiled eggs? No problem, put in the water add eggs, flip the switch. Once done, put in running water until cool and peel immediately....perfect boiled eggs.It does OK with the omelet tray also, but I will still fry my omelette's.....As always, YMMV

Easy to use, cooks eggs well. However, some eggs even when pierced seem to erupt while cooking and make a mess inside the cooker. Still trying to figure that out ... Lots of pieces to clean after use.

So far I have used it to only boil eggs. Best part my husband can also use this.

I'm always pleased with the Cuisinart brand, and this Egg Cooker is no exception. I use it often. I like that I can cook 10 eggs at a time. Most cookers are 7 or 8. I always use distilled water, and I clean the water reservoir after each use with a little white vinegar. The egg piercer on the bottom of the water cup works well. My only complaint is that I wish it would turn itself off after the cooking cycle completes. It has a very loud, shrill beep that won't shut off until I go over and turn it off.

This product makes perfect cheese omelets. If you want perfect hard boiled eggs you have to do one thing first, take the cold eggs out of the refrigerator and allow them to warm to room temperature or below, I actually put mine in a pot of hot water for five minutes. If you don't the eggs will crack and leak from the shell, the expansion is simply too great. Enjoy.

I've made hard boiled eggs and omelets and both turned out great. The omelet is nice and fluffy, considerably better and better for you than pan frying. The container is big enough for three eggs and some meat and cheese at the bottom. Follow directions. Cooking time is approximately 20 minutes for the omelet. About the same for hard boiled eggs. Haven't tried poached eggs yet but I will. I use filtered water and have not had a problem with staining. A paper towel dampened with a bit of vinegar will remove whatever stains are left after the water has boiled. Very pleased with the purchase so far.

Love this egg cooker! My husband uses it frequently. It cooks the eggs absolutely perfect. The eggs are easy to peel as well. Would be great to use this to cook the eggs for deviled eggs.

I could never get my hard boiled eggs to turn out right. I would always try different recipes, cooking times, etc. with no luck. My eggs were either not cooked enough or cooked too long. And trying to peel them frustrated me and took forever. Not with this. You have to follow the directions and also read the tips that come with the instructions. I use distilled water instead of the tap. I also clean after every use with vinegar. The biggest thing is to make sure your egg is positioned correctly. Great product - so happy I got this.

It's good and does what its supposed to do. But, I dont like how it has a number of extra parts (inserts for omelets, cups for measuring water, etc.) just floating around. I use it less than I thought I would.

I got this for Christmas and had successfully made poached eggs (just needed to add a bit more water the second time) and omelets (using 2 eggs with added cheese and veggies -- comes out the perfect size to tuck in a roll as a sandwich) ... Finally got around to hard-boiling just now -- and I'm thrilled at how cleanly and easily the eggs peeled! Took less time than boiling, too. What a great little device!!

This was so easy and changed my mind about egg cookers. The 1st brand I purchased was worthless and was returned. Today was the first time I used it so I have no way of commenting on durability.
