We have a flock of 10 hens and this is a great tool to use all the eggs we have! I am an experienced home cook and could never get consistent hard boiled eggs. This egg cooker cooks them perfectly and they are SO EASY TO PEEL! I also use the omlette tray and the eggs are fuffy and delicious!

What a great little gadget! I am not too into gadgets, I use a Chef’s knife to do almost everything but I tried this on the advice of a friend. Made perfect hard- boiled eggs so easy and that piercing trick made them peel SO easy!! Pierce the fatter end, that’s the “top” (because that’s how the sit in the carton. They should define “top” without having to read the tips and tricks. Also made a poached egg beautifully. This is a keeper.

My husband was gifted this and loves it so much he bought one for his daughter. Easy to use and clean.

This is my second Cuisinart egg cooker. The first one lasted almost 15 years and worked perfectly until it didn’t. This thing works beautifully. Pictures are as follows:1 - eggs pierced, fat end always, water in the base2 - dome lid on, power on, cooking3 - lid removed immediately after beeping4 - 7 perfectly cooked eggs.I firmly believe those who post pics of exploded eggs with a huge mess to clean are not piercing the egg or they’re piercing it on the wrong side. I have no idea how good this works for poaching or for omelette as I will use it only to boil them.

My wife gave the Egg Central to me as a birthday gift. At the time, it seemed kind of like me giving her a vacuum cleaner.I love hard-boiled eggs (with salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil), but this seemed like a real gimmick.After having used it a few times however, I’m hooked.It makes perfect eggs.Clean up is a little bit of a nuisance because the mineral deposits from the egg can get stuck on the bottom of the cooker. However with a little vinegar and a paper towel it’s all cleaned up.Highly recommend Egg Central if you like perfect soft-, medium-, or hard-cooked eggs that are a cinch to peel.Pro Tip: When the tone sounds to indicate the eggs are done, be sure to turn the cooker off before unplugging it. Otherwise you might forget to turn it off, and then the next time you plug it in it’ll start cooking immediately.

This little gem is just amazing. I just made a beautiful 3 egg omelette with cheddar, Parmesan, mushrooms, and spinach. I didn’t precook anything and added only 3 tablespoons of milk, salt, and pepper and whisked thoroughly. It came out light and fluffy throughout with the vegetables perfectly tender. Count me impressed. It looked pretty when I took off the dome and I used a spatula to gently lift it onto my bowl and it stayed intact as you can see in my photos. I did find that using the max level of water in the range prevented any runniness. So easy! So yummy! Yay!

The instructions were easy. The equipment was easy to assemble. Perfectly cooked medium eggs. Some tips: puncture the round end of the egg (the end that is pointing up in the egg carton) - a tip I picked up from another reviewer, and I filled up to lowest mark on the measuring cup for medium eggs and immediately dunked them in a cold water bath to ensure that the eggs don’t over cook.
