I use it everyday for poached eggs and it it amazing for hard boiled eggs. This is my third one over several years.

This product is easy to use, and cooks the perfect boiled eggs. I usually cook 6 at a time. Using the bottom of the measuring cup, you punch a small hole in the round end of each egg. Place them in the holder, hole-side up. Fill the measuring cup to the level (markings on the side of the cup) which corresponds to the amount of steaming duration for egg doneness . Less water > less cooking (soft-boiled). Cooking time for hard-boiled was about 10 minutes. Perfect consistency. A gentile alarm alerts you when the cooking is done...and turns off the cooking device. Now, here's the caution: THE TOP GETS VERY HOT!! Lift off the top using the plastic handles at the bottom of the dome. Carefully lift the plastic tray holding the cooked eggs, and immerse them in a bowl with cool water. You don't need iced water. Next, I roll each egg on its side until the shell begins to crack. The shell is then easily removed from the egg with no loss of egg white. Wow! That was easy. You can store the cooked eggs in a covered container for later consumption. The consistency of the boiled eggs was perfect for my taste. Now, once the metal parts have cooled, I wipe the heating element (just like your slo-cooker) with a wet sponge. Buy one.

could never get it right with a pan and boiling water. could rarely get them to peel easily. with cuisinart egg maker, they seem to peel consistently well.

I love eggs - all kinds of eggs - cooked through any method. This is a dream come true. It takes less than 15 to have the PERFECT hard boiled eggs. Poached eggs come out perfectly. Nothing has failed to come out right. You absolutely cannot walk off and leave this though - when it completes the cooking process (whichever you choose), the unit beeps and flashes the light until you turn it off. I don't want to try and see how long it takes to turn off - I would rather not break or burn the unit. Clean up is easy - but it DOES leave deposits that you will need to use vinegar to remove every so often.

I bought this for my mom who is on a diet that is heavy on hard-boiled eggs, and she thinks it's just fantastic and has simplified her life. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and highly efficient.

I have ordered other gadgets in the past to try them once and not be impressed with them and put them in a cabinet to be forgotten. My sister in law recommended the Egg Central and I ordered one and love it. I ordered one for each of our kids and they love them. The eggs are cooked to your liking and the shells just slip off leaving an entire egg without loosing most of the white inside of the shell. All I can say is every cook needs one.

A friend has an electric teapot, I'm not sure if it is the same model as this but it is similar. I bought this one and it works great. Very simple, fast to boil water, I'm very satisfied.

I do enjoy hard boiled eggs but hate the struggle of removing the shell and having it wreck my perfect egg. Well, this is THE solution to that problem. I haven't tried the other cooking methods but highly recommend it for hard boiling technique. BTW, I use regular water, not distilled...hasn't affected my egg color or taste.

I read the operation instructions and the helpful tips included with the unit. I am making great boiled eggs and omelets! It’s easy to use and clean up. I learned that the eggs I use are too large for the three egg omelet recipe. But two egg omelets are perfect! I like this egg cooker.

This is the best egg poacher! It is great to be able to use up to 10 eggs at a time. You need it to make egg salad or deviled eggs. Besides poaching there is a piece to use for omelets too. Perfection every time! The value you get for the money is spot on! Why pay more? This is all you will need! The quality is there!

this is great - cooks 10 at a time and done perfect. I also really like the omelet tray! it makes a nice fluffy omelet!

This is my husbands toy. It works well if you follow instructions. I have a hard time opening without breaking eggs if I stack the 2nd layer if 3. Remember fat side of egg is up and needs vent hole pierced. Measure water. I use the 2nd lube from top which makes avfirm yolk but not green.
