It doesn’t hold any more dishes than a regular drying rack, but I bought it specifically to free up counter space and it accomplished this beautifully. It is very sturdy and creates a much nicer aesthetic in the kitchen than the old drying rack that sat on the counter. If you’re looking for compliments from visitors, then this rack will accomplish that.
The ‘fruit bowl’ definitely doesn’t get used as intended. We use it as a spot for mugs, drinking glasses, and awkwardly shaped items like peelers and Tupperware. Also, I still haven’t figured out how to effectively use the hooks. If you hang a mug on one then it just gets a pool of water in the bottom of it. For these reasons, I gave it 4 stars for storage instead of 5. Like I said, if you’re buying this in the hope that it will hold a whole lot more dishes than your old drying rack, you will likely be disappointed. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase so far and feel it was worth the money.

Purchased this as an alternative to doing everything in the dishwasher. We have limited counter space and having a drying rack that sets over top of the sink is a great space saver. Our daughter saw ours and lived it so we purchased a second one for her for Christmas

Excellent space saver - Fair quality for the sale price we paid, but not sure I'd feel the same without the discount.

I love this product. It gave me back much needed counter space. It was easy to assemble. I would have given five stars except it is too wide for my single sink. They should create one for single as well as double sinks. I have to place dish towels beside my sink to catch the dripping water, but even then it’s worth it. Better than the old plastic drip tray on my counter that used to get all filled with mildew. Makes sense to let water drip into the sink! I’m a fan!!

If you're purchasing this rack to gain more counter space, this will help you. But, you have to realize a few things. Firstly, if you generally have enough dishes for a 6 place setting, this is not going to accommodate all of them. At most, 5 small and 5 larger plates. In addition, if you have deep bowls, they're not going to fit in there too well. In order to accommodate more, you'll need the wider version of these racks.Keep in mind that, while you're saving counter space, this design makes it so water drains not just appropriately into the sink, but onto the items below it, like soap, soap dispensers, sponges, cleaning brushes. That sounds OK but, over the course of time, small food particles will dirty those things, as well. So, be sure to keep those items clean.Don't forget that you're going to need space to dry your glasses. If you are still short on counter space, you'll need one of those metal racks that unroll across your sink top. If your sink is a decent enough size, you'll still have room to wash dishes.I should've looked more closely at the picture. I was expecting something that was entirely brushed metal. Instead, I find that, while the accessories are brushed metal, the base rack is like polished chrome that, when the screws are tightened, dents the metal, causing me to question how strong that metal is, making me worry that, at some point, there'll be a crash. For any accessories you feel you might have room for on the supports, you can get them on eBay.

This is exactly what I needed. It is space saving and looks beautiful. I wasn’t able to make it fit with the suction cups on due to the design of my sink, but it works just as well without them and is very sturdy. The knife holder doesn’t work for my knives though and I wish the cutlery holder was larger (or that there was more than one). But overall I am very pleased with this item.

Love this drying rack. Gave 4 stars because it's expensive and I wish it had more trays.

I fell in love with the concept when I saw this type of dish rack. There are many lower and higher priced racks of the same type and I chose this one in the middle. It went together easily. The reason it’s not a 5 star across the board are 1. the silver screws take away from a polished appearance 2. The utensil hooks can only be used on the back bracket, wish there could have been a couple that hung off the baskets like the silverware caddy.

Shows many attachments but one very important one - a couple of rods from which to slide stemware (wine classes, etc.) upside down to dry.

Ours arrived without the crossbars. We are not even able to try it out.

Update, 5 Aug 19: Emailed company to get a set of crossbars. Worked very quickly to get them shipped out. Will update again when they arrive. The rest of the product seems well made and easy to assemble.

I like it. It just a little pricey and is smaller in person. It looks bigger in the photo.
