I like that you can set it & walk away. And it beeps when its done. If you’ve ever forgotten about your boiling eggs, you know what I’m talking about. Nothing like cleaning eggs off the ceiling. This little appliance will keep that from happening.

I've made tons of hardboiled eggs in my life and I've tried every trick on the internet to make them easy to peel. Vinegar in the water. Salt in the water. Old eggs. New eggs. Ice bath. Nothing worked and I always ended up with impossible-to-peel eggs. I also tried making hard-boiled eggs in my air fryer - which was a disaster. This device makes it dead simple to make hard-boiled eggs that actually peel. I have yet to have a single hard-boiled egg out of this that wouldn't peel. Also, as long as you grease the poached egg holder, the poached eggs come out of here absolutely perfectly, so I've been enjoying poached eggs with my breakfast too. That's something I wasn't even really planning on using, and a nice bonus.That being said, there are trade-offs. First of all, I have had a few that have sort-of leaked out of the hole that you have to punch in the egg. To me, this isn't a big deal. You often end up with similar issues when making them in boiling water, since they'll bump into each other and occasionally crack. It does mean you have a little cleaning to do, which is fine.It's also the case that I didn't realize how much stuff was in my water. Since you're boiling out all of the water, and minerals in your water end up coating the bottom of the device. That makes for a bit of work and will require some vinegar and scrubbing if it bothers you. For the price of this device, I'll just let it build up and eventually just replace it.

I've had an egg poacher for 50 years... since I got married. I had gone through 2 good ones and was careful in selecting a replacement. We can't go without one because we boil eggs nearly every week. This one is the best I've ever had... so much more versatile because it holds so many more. I love the stainless bottom but a bit of a pain to scour the water deposits off every few uses. Teflon was easier but over the years, this will look better and worth the scouring.

This is my second of these. The first one was used for over 6 years cooking eggs weekly. Then it started being unstable, overcooking one week and undercooking the next. I got a new one and it is working just fine. If I get over 6 years use out of it I will be happy. I usually cook 7 eggs per week, and occasionally make a larger batch to make deviled eggs. It has a well written manual and works exactly as the manual says.

If you love hard boiled eggs this is a great device to own. It also will soft cook eggs and do other egg cooking procedures. We use it for hard boiled most of the time. Easy to peel and always perfectly done, assuming you follow the instructions. We have given several as gifts. One a month or so ago. Highly recommend.

Always put eggs in POINTY side down and pierce the end sticking up! Follow these 2 simple directions and you’ll always have the most easy pealing perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs every time!

I had a egg cooker for 43years and I loved it. This is the first one that is easy to use as my old one!

Just got this thing and boiled a half dozen eggs. Worked perfectly. Didn’t leak water like some have experienced. I don’t know how it could be any simpler to use. I timed it. It Medium Boiled 6 large eggs in just over 11 minutes. So much faster than doing the old fashioned way. Clean up is a snap. Nice looking unit and doesn’t take up much counter space. Looking forward to doing omelettes in it. So far it’s a winner.

This handy device makes perfect eggs every single time. I am a diabetic and eggs are a large part of my diet - but it used to annoy me to no end when I would boil eggs in a pot (with vinegar, with salt, ice water cool down and various other tips), only to come out with eggs nearly impossible to peel. After my third failed batch, I was lamenting to friend about it, and she sent me the link to this egg maker. I dithered about it with some reservations but finally hit the BUY NOW button.I received the egg maker the next day, ran out to buy some eggs, came home, read the instructions and went to town making perfect Hard Boiled eggs. I do wish Cuisinart had included a few diagrams and a couple more tid bits of information in the manual, but I figured it out in the end:* Remove the rubber guard over the egg puncture needle on the bottom of the measuring cup.* Puncture the egg on top of the skinny end of the egg.* Put the eggs into the holder large end down.I know it seems fairly obvious now, but at the time tensions were high and there was a great wailing and gnashing of teeth to solve this cosmic mystery… yes, I realize I am not the brightest crayon in the box, but inept cooks need eggs too.Just so you know, puncturing the fat end of the egg, and placing them skinny side down also works for decent eggs without any notable damage to the universe - but if you do it the right way, the eggs come out perfect with no warning notices from God.

I made 7 boiled eggs to try out the unit, they were absolutely perfect. I'm working on the poached eggs, 1st time way to running, 2nd time much better, now I know how much water for the perfect poached eggs. Love the unit and easy clean up.

hard to pirce an egg

We have a flock of 10 hens and this is a great tool to use all the eggs we have! I am an experienced home cook and could never get consistent hard boiled eggs. This egg cooker cooks them perfectly and they are SO EASY TO PEEL! I also use the omlette tray and the eggs are fuffy and delicious!

The inside of the boiled egg is absolutely perfect. The peeling is not always perfect but still love the cooker.

I had no idea how wonderful having an egg cooker could be. No more cleaning the stove top of boiled over water or struggling to get the shells off hard boiled eggs. This Cuisinart Egg Cooker is easy to use and the eggs come out perfectly. I love it and have told many friends about it.

It cooks eggs just perfectly. We have three in our family. Wouldn’t use anything else to cook eggs.

We use this cooker so much. We wore out the buzzer so the only reason we got a new one (and donated the used one).
