Just got mine delivered an hour ago. Immediately loaded it up and followed the instructions...and this thing produced the best hard boiled eggs I've ever tasted!!!

This egg maker works yeah. Watch the directions fro the timing may be a bit off.

Had one before years ago, lost in a move. So glad I finally got another one! Only uses a bit of water and you get perfectly cooked and easy to peel boiled eggs—every time! So easy to use! Easy to clean!versatile capacity, and other cooking style options possible too!

Okay so as a person who eats a high protein diet, I eat a LOT of hard boiled eggs. This thing is the BEST. You can fit up to TEN eggs in it, and theyre all cooked evenly. The only thing is the build up from the materials in the tap water get burnt on to everything, but it doesn't hurt anything and doesn't effect the outcome, so as ugly as it is, it doesn't bother me. Best thing ive ever gotten.... EVER. If you eat a lot of eggs, THIS IS A MUST in your home!

I've heard them all. Use old eggs, start with cold water, add vinegar to the water, give them an ice bath, roll it on the counter, shake them around in a pan after cooking, blah, blah, blah. I still NEVER got an egg to peel properly. Until this handy little appliance!!I've used store bought and fresh eggs (we have chickens so I mean FRESH) and one very important thing to do to get this to work is make sure the eggs are cooked AND STORED with the larger end facing up. The only time I've ever had an egg overflow was when they were upside down. Store bought eggs are always packaged this way but if you have your own eggs at home, pay attention to how you carton them--it matters. Also, I thought piercing eggs was going to be a messy disaster waiting to happen for this klutz. However, I've only cracked 3 out of the dozens I've cooked. And I put them in the cooker anyway without issue.

Use it all the time

I was hesitant to purchase this as it seems superfluous but am so glad I did! The eggs cook perfectly but the best thing to me is the shells peel off easily and effortlessly. I bought this with a gift card back in January and have made more hard boiled eggs this year than ever. I agree with the other reviews to be sure to read the directions. This device is worth it!

I purchased this particular egg cooker because I wanted to poach 4 eggs at once. Most if not all other brands only poach 3 eggs at a time. I have had egg cookers previously and know that you have to learn exactly how much water to use to get the egg cooked to particular specifications. I am still learning how much water to use. I think the only bad thing about this item is the lid needs some type of top handle on the lid because it is difficult to get the lid off without getting a steam burn. Well I am learning how to use it. I love poached eggs.
